A fan favorite, T.G. Sheppard and his music has stood the test of time with such classic #1 hits as "Devil in the Bottle", "Tryin' to Beat the Morning Home" . Subsequent hits like "Motels and Memories" and "Show Me A Man", and "When Can We Do This Again" followed. He had a series of fifteen consecutive Top 10 releases, including 10 No. 1 songs with the biggest "Last Cheater's Waltz" followed by "I'll Be Coming Back For More", the recognizable "Do You Wanna Go to Heaven", and "I Love 'Em Every One", "Party Time", "Only One You", "Finally" and more! Another major hit came in 1984: "Slow Burn". That same year he recorded a duet with Judy Collins, the title track of her final album for Elektra Records Home Again.
Soon to follow was the remake hit "Fooled Around and Fell in Love", followed by yet another hit "Strong Heart". In the late 80's "Half Past Forever (Till I'm Blue in the Heart)", "You're My First Lady", and "One for the Money" had notable success.
